Franz Hautzinger, Matthias Loibner and Jörg Mikula came together in Vienna, where they work in overlapping fields. Franz Hautzinger is well known in experimental music and avantgarde Jazz, Matthias Loibner swings between old music, folk and various contemporary styles, while Jörg Mikula feels at home in Jazz and Worldmusic. Together they create soundscapes and grooves in the spur of the moment, based on pieces of Hautzinger and Loibner, both excellent composers in their very personal way and with a widely cross-linked musical background. All three of them like to circle around each other while keeping their own musical independence. At the same time they simply enjoy the social aspects of playing together.
