Franz Hautzinger and Matthias Loibner came together in Vienna, where they work in overlapping fields. Franz Hautzinger is well known in experimental music and avantgarde Jazz while Matthias Loibner swings between old music, folk and various contemporary styles. Together they create soundscapes and grooves in the spur of the moment, based on pieces of Hautzinger and Loibner, both excellent composers in their very personal way and with a widely cross-linked musical background. With the use of live electronics as an equal partner they let their sounds circle around each other while keeping their musical independence. At the same time they simply enjoy the social aspects of playing together.
